the organisation and regarding the care and support of sick children and their families.
What CHI members do!
Volunteer Members have an ongoing active involvement in the work of the
organisation. There are a variety of volunteering opportunities with Children in
Hospital Ireland: working directly with children in our PlayWell hospital play
services, supporting parents at our JustAsk hospital information desks, helping
out with our annual awareness and fundraising events and activities.
Supporter Members are parents and individual members of the public who want
to support the aims and work of the organisation, without necessarily becoming
involved as a volunteer.
Health Professional Members are medical, nursing and allied health
professionals who want to support and reinforce the organisation’s work of
ensuring best practice in the provision of healthcare to children.
Group Members are chronic illness and condition support organisations,
professional representative bodies, children’s hospitals, units and wards. Group
Members are invited to nominate a representative to attend meetings and
seminars held throughout the year where issues and concerns relating to the
provision of healthcare to all sick children can be raised and addressed.
All our members are greatly appreciated and valued!
