A New Children's Hospital

The new Children’s Hospital of Ireland

For many years CHI has been to the fore in campaigning for the development of a new Children's Hospital in Dublin.

Now that this is a reality and work is progressing on the planning of the hospital, CHI continues to advocate for the best possible facilities and standards for the new hospital. We want a world class hospital for the children of Ireland. 

The appointment of the design consortium last year was a welcome step towards this goal.

Later in the year CHI will host the European Association for Children in Hospital 2010 Conference in Dublin. The conference will focus on the development of the children's hospital. There will be presentations on all aspects of the development of the hospital.

Children in Hospital Ireland is committed to working to ensure that the new hospital will be up to world class standards. We would welcome you thoughts on the matter!
